Information we collect

The app has no sign-in, no registration, and no user profiles held by us. We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, location, contacts, photos, or any other personal information.

What the app stores, and where

Your game progress — your score, level, coins, unlocked critters and worlds, and achievements — is saved in two places, both of which belong to you:

• On your device. Progress is written to the app's private storage area on your iPhone or iPad. Deleting the app removes it.
• In your personal iCloud account. If you are signed in to iCloud, progress is also written to Apple's iCloud key-value storage so it survives deleting the app and follows you to your other devices.

This iCloud data lives in your Apple account, not ours. Apple provides developers with no access to it whatsoever. We cannot read, retrieve, or restore your saved game, and neither can anyone else. Its handling is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. You can remove it at any time in iOS Settings under your Apple Account → iCloud.

Crash & bug reports

If the app crashes, or if you use "Report a Bug" in the app's Settings, a report is sent to our database (hosted on Supabase). It includes your description (for manual reports), a crash message and stack trace (for crashes), and basic device info — app version, platform, OS version, device model. It never includes your name, email, or any other personal information, and it is used only to find and fix bugs — never for tracking or analytics.

Advertising, analytics, and tracking

There are none. The app contains no advertising networks, no analytics SDKs, no social media SDKs, and no tracking technologies. We do not use cookies or device advertising identifiers, and we do not track you across apps or websites. The only outbound data is the crash/bug reporting described above.

Notifications

With your permission, the Game sends you a daily reminder to come back and play. These are local notifications: they are scheduled and delivered entirely by your own device. The Game is not registered with any push notification service, no push token is generated or transmitted, and we receive no notification of any kind — including whether you opened one. You can decline the permission prompt, or turn reminders off at any time in iOS Settings → Notifications → Hungry Critters, without affecting gameplay.

Purchases

Hungry Critters is free. There are no in-app purchases and no subscriptions. The coins in the game are virtual items with no monetary value; they are earned by playing and cannot be bought, sold, cashed out, or transferred.

Children

The app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone — the app has no accounts and no personal-information collection of any kind.

Sharing your information

We have no personal information about you to share, sell, rent, or disclose. The only data that leaves your device is the crash/bug report described above, sent to our own database — never to advertisers or data brokers.

Your rights

Privacy laws such as the GDPR and the CCPA give you rights to access, correct, delete, or port the personal data a company holds about you. We hold no personal data about you, so there is nothing for us to produce or erase. To delete everything the app has stored, delete the app from your device and remove its iCloud data in iOS Settings.

Security

Because no personal data ever leaves your device except into your own iCloud account, there is no database of ours that could expose your identity if breached. Data on your device is protected by iOS app sandboxing and your device passcode or biometrics; iCloud data is protected by Apple's account security.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted at this address with an updated date above. If a future version of the app ever begins collecting data, we will say so here and in the App Store privacy details before that version ships.
